It's a miniature etching that I did a few years ago when I liked fish! Well, I still like fish but I've been doing more birds lately. I'll have to add fish somewhere!

Blue Vase
This blue vase, a gift, fascinates me in the sunlight.
Like a planet, spinning and glowing.
Partridges or Quail!
Some of the birds now have a living space!
A little busy but colorful!
"Gouache" is a french term (I am always learning new french words!) meaning opaque watercolor, where a white pigment is added to watercolors.......... making them more opaque, of course!

Gouache Birds
Gouache birds! They started as real birds but then my imagination took over and they became my own! They aren't quite finished and they still need backgrounds.
I've enjoyed painting shapes with the gouache paint but it isn't quite like oils for blending and shading!
Potpourri
There are so many interesting natural objects in this potpourri that I received as a gift. No doubt, nature is fascinating! And provides us with many ideas for art projects!
