Etched Plate





Yesterday I was in the studio working on this etched copper plate for a new print. An etched plate can be very beautiful. I love the texture! Keep reading and you will see how it looks after inking!

  3. Merci. Il est presque termine. Avec un peu plus de travail sur la plaque, je serai plus proche de l'aimer!

    It is almost finished. With a little more work on the plate, I will be closer to liking it!

    I know, I love the copper plates inked up. This one isn't quite finished but it's close - you know how that is! Of course, you'll see the print later.

  7. Anne-This etched copper plate is of one of my most favorite subjects: Backyard Birds! I can't wait to see the finished print, although this plate is a piece of art itself! Carol

  8. I'm very close to finishing it. I want to add some special paper as a background but I'm still waiting for it to come. I'm looking forward to trying this new technique so I hope it works!
