Lilypads

I made this miniature linocut a few years ago after I visited a local pond full of lilypads. I've always loved them and imagine and sometimes see all sorts of interesting pond life around them. These small linocuts are a real challenge because you have to use your smallest tool. And then you have to make sure all of the colors line up just right when you print it, just like larger prints!

  3. Beautiful, Anne! And I agree with Jean-Luc that a dragonfly would be a wonderful addition to this composition!

  4. Thanks Carol! I could make one with a dragonfly sometime. And I should make a bigger one. I like all of the light patterns on the leaves even thought they're a challenge!

I enjoy your comments. Thanks for looking!
